First, a disclaimer: At this point, Stainless is really just a technology demo and is likely to stay that way (though we might add some novel ideas we have for bookmark and history management).

# I8 ?9 R8 X" ZSo, why did we create yet-another-WebKit-browser? Because building a multi-process browser for OS X was a cool way to leverage the multi-processing technology we developed for one of our products, Hypercube.

) r; c4 k! ^8 _+ d2 QJudging from Chromium's OS X Detailed Status page, the Mac version of Chrome will use a WebCore-rendered bitmap to pass between the browser and rendering processes. The strategy we use in Hypercube (and now Stainless) is far less ambitious, but a whole lot easier to do and, thus, available today for your downloading pleasure (for Leopard only, sorry).8 i: B; K$ u5 Y) W0 N K

P! i: l5 x' c% K+ Y& w5 d' B很幸运这世界上还有很多默默工作着的开发者，有一个开发小组已经根据Chrome开发出Mac OS X下的浏览器，它就是Stainless浏览器，它的功能和特性等都与Chrome极为相似。

目前这个版本只是一个演示版，还尚未成熟，而且仅支持Leopard系统。喜欢尝鲜的朋友可以去试试。 |
